'Fair City' Is 30, But How Have Soaps Changed Over The Years?

Fair City celebrated its 30th anniversary this week, but the soap's executive producer Brigie de Courcy feels things have changed a lot over the years. How good are soaps at tackling hard-hitting issues today? Or are they there simply to make us feel better about our own lives, in comparison to the lives of the characters we watch? Jennifer Gannon and Joe O'Shea discussed this in our TV slot. They also talked about the return of Saved by the Bell and the 25th anniversary of ER.
