Everything You Need To Know About Travelling This Summer

Sunshine is on everyone's mind right now. And this morning on Dermot & Dave, the lads spoke to Ed Finn, who is a travel journalist with 20 years experience. The week before the lockdown he was in the UK and hasn’t gone abroad since lockdown. However, he is hoping to take his first trip in July to Croatia. That said, he’s moved his annual two week hols in Spain to September from July, even though he’ll technically be able to go to Spain in July. As it stands, the Irish Authorities are advising against all non-essential travel overseas until further notice. If you do leave the country, you are required to obliged to fill out a mandatory Public Health Passenger Locator form which will provide the location of where you will be self-isolating for the next two weeks. These regulations were due to expire this week but have been extended for another three weeks until July 9th. If you don’t fill out the form, you could face a fine of €2500 or a prison term of six months. Hit play to hear the advice that Ed had for Dermot & Dave this morning.
