Eugenics is the discredited idea that the human race can be improved by selecting who can and who can’t reproduce. Although Hilter and the Nazi party were strong supporters of this theory, they didn't invent it. In fact, it was first created in London in 1904. Not only was it invented there, it was also popular among many well known British figures of the 20th century. Angela Saini, science journalist and host of 'Eugenics: Science's Greatest Scandal',  told us all about this unknown past.
