Almost 100,000 people have come to Ireland over the past year most of them fleeing the war in Ukraine. They also bring skills with them but may often need some sort of retraining in order to fill the glaring vacancies that many employers have in this economy. The online marketplace giant eBay is working with the Irish Refugee Council to help with interview skills as well as providing more mundane items such as nappies and kids’ toys.
