The Bellissimo Files One To Watch: DYVR On Their New Battle Cry Track Patheon And The Importance Of Community In Music

DYVR This week's One To Watch is DYVR (pronounced dy-ver) They've just released their new EP Part 3 and lead single Pantheon. Speaking to Sarina last weekend, DYVR said Patheon is a battle cry. They say for too long we've seen stories of the queer experience told with a negative spin, it's time to celebrate the good experiences too. DYVR wants to hear more of the positive queer experience directly from queer people and not in some news story.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by  🔳❌ (@dyvrofficial) Another passion of DYVR's is pushing the importance of community in music.  Not just in the fans, but in the many people it takes to make something happen. DYVR said the moment they started to accept help from others was the moment things started to flourish. It's something they wish all new artists could know.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by  🔳❌ (@dyvrofficial) DYVR also told Sarina about their jewellery brand Queerings. The brand has a unique logo that was inspired by an experience their friend had while filling out a job application. They were asked to tick a box to mark their sexuality, which felt very archaic. The brand's logo is an ode to not fitting in any box and each purchase donates money to Stonewall UK.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Quearrings By  (@quearringsbydyvr) To hear more about DYVR and their music, have a listen to the podcast: [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2021/11/20110410/PODCAST-DYVR-.mp3"][/audio] Want To Be Featured on The Bellissimo Files' One To Watch?
