Dogs Seized By Gardaí To Be Rehomed Quickly Instead Of Languishing In Kennels For Years

Dogs rescued under the Animal Health and Welfare Act are being held for extended periods of time as evidence in cases relating to the conditions and/or establishment from which they were seized. This is in contrast to dogs seized under the Control of Dogs act which can be rehomed within five days.
