Do Rapid Antigen Tests Have A Role To Play In Our Exit From Lockdown?

The CEO of Lidl has defended the sale of antigen tests in their supermarkets nationwide. The tests were launched last week and have already sold out in some Lidl stores. Professor Philip Nolan of NPHET has warned that "these antigen tests will not keep you safe", but do they have a role to play in Ireland's exit from lockdown? Kingston Mills, Professor of Experimental Immunology at Trinity College Dublin, says he is "very much in favour" of widespread antigen testing and joined us on The Last Word to explain why.
