Should direct provision be abolished or reformed?

The Direct Provision system will be ended within the lifetime of the next government according to the prospective Programme for Government. All this week here on the Hard Shoulder, we are taking individual items from the potential Programme for Government between Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Greens, and discussing them. To discuss the issue of direct provision, Ivan was joined on Wednesday's edition of the Hard Shoulder by Adrian Shanagher, owner of the Grand Hotel in Wicklow Town, which is a direct provision centre, and Aodhan O’Riordain, Labour TD for Dublin Bay North.
