Diplomatic Row Between Britain And United States Continues To Escalate
Britain and the United States have become embroiled in a diplomatic row over the British Ambassador Sir Kim Darroch, who has been critical of Donald Trump.
Darroch branded the Trump administration "inept" and "dysfunctional" in memos which were leaked by a Sunday newspaper, leading to a hostile response from Trump on Twitter.
As well as labelling Darroch a "wacky ambassador" and "a very stupid guy", he also hit out at Theresa May's "foolish" way of dealing with Brexit.
...handled. I told @theresa_may how to do that deal, but she went her own foolish way-was unable to get it done. A disaster! I don’t know the Ambassador but have been told he is a pompous fool. Tell him the USA now has the best Economy & Military anywhere in the World, by far...

Cal Thomas and Marion McKeone discussed this and more from the United States, including billionaire Jeffrey Epstein being charged with federal sex trafficking crimes, and whether the World Cup-winning US women's soccer team will be invited to the White House.
