The Detective Who Has Worked On Some Of Ireland's Most Notorious Crimes

Pat Marry is a former Detective Inspector with An Garda Síochána. Over the course of his career, he was involved in the investigation of some of Ireland's most notorious murder cases. Although he says you never quite get used to dealing with death, a detective has to realise that it is their job to get the answers while always having utmost respect for the deceased and their family. Pat joined us on The Last Word to discuss his book, The Making of a Detective, and some of the specific cases he has worked on.
