Dermot & Dave's Best Of Podcast-21/01

Missed some of your favourite bits during the week? Want to catch up on the craic from Dermot and Dave? Well look no further than the Dermot and Dave Best Of podcast, your home for all of the messing with none of the music! [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2022/01/21132030/0121_Final.mp3"][/audio] Whether you’re on a drive, out on a walk, getting stuck into the gaff or garden or looking for a bit of distraction from work, the Dermot and Dave Best of podcast has just some of our favourite moments from the week gone by! This week was all about DIY. What started as a simple IKEA project for Dermot turned into a Saturday afternoon with builder Dave. But that’s not it, buoyed with confidence, they’re now embarking on a proper full on man cave project.   🧱 Dermot & Dave: (Try) To Build A Mancave 🧱⁰@DaveTodayFM is on construction, while @DermotTodayFM takes ‘project management’ role - taking care of the tea & sambos🥪☕️⁰Keep an eye on our Instagram stories all weekend to catch the progress…or lack thereof 😂 pic.twitter.com/e8KhBC11c9 — Today FM 💛 (@TodayFM) January 21, 2022 Yes, Dave is essentially building a man cave for Dermot. No, you’re crying. He’s not doing it without getting some help, former Room to Improve star Lisa O’Brien, and our favourite gardener, Diarmuid Gavin stopped by with some tips. While that is a serious feat, it’s nothing compared to Karen Weekes. The Galway woman is rowing across the Atlantic, solo. We caught up with her to see how she’s getting on and found out about her run in with a hammerhead shark. We discovered what the worst road in Ireland is, fantasised about winning the lotto and met the Irish man who left his immersion on for years without realising it. We’ll need the weekend to recover from the shock. Plus all your faves from Say Stuff That Suits the Music, to Dave’s Bad Jokes, and caught up with Noni in the middle of her spring clean.
