David Malone Chief Executive of the Irish League of Credit Unions

Over the past quarter, credit unions were issuing loans at a rate of 8000 per week that works out at €631million worth of loans over 3 months.   There’s no doubt that the credit unions are slowly but surely starting to become a fourth force when it comes to home loans.  But they still have a long way to go to match the lending levels of the big 3 banks.  Speaking to Joe this morning was David Malone the Chief Executive of the Irish League of Credit Unions.
