Dáil Debates Legislation That Would Allow Government To Shut Down Parts Of The Country

We heard recently from Paschal Donohoe about measures introduced to help people who may be struggling with their mortgage repayments during the the coronavirus outbreak. Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy today joined us on The Last Word to talk about the steps being taken to help renters, including the introduction of a moratorium on rent increases. We were also joined by Juno McEnroe, political correspondent with The Irish Examiner, who discussed the legislation being debated in the Dáil which will allow the government to shut down parts of the country if necessary.
