Dáil bailout barney

How did the state rescue the banks post-crash? Taoiseach Michael Martin claimed in the Dáil yesterday that banks were never bailed out during the financial crash He made the statement in response to People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd Barret asking why Government couldn't provide a bailout to Debenhams workers when it bailed out the banks following the 2008 fiscal crisis.
