Daffodil Day: Mary was 9 weeks pregnant when she was told she had cancer

For those who don’t know, today is Daffodil Day. This day is supported by Boots and is the Irish Cancer Society’s most important Daffodil Day ever. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Irish Cancer Society cannot host its traditional on-street collections and fundraising events. This has had a significant impact on their ability to raise much needed funds, with Daffodil Day 2020 earnings down by over €2million. Mary Canavan told Andrea about her experience with cancer.
