Not long ago, electric cars seemed like something way off in the future, but now due to changing trends, environmental concerns and climate targets more & more people are going electric.  3,222 people bought an electric vehicle so far this year – that’s up from just over 1,200 last year. But despite their growth - electric vehicles continue to be outsold by petrol & diesel cars. As part of our Commuter Hell series here on Newstalk all week, Breakfast Briefing Presenter, Andrea Gilligan was tasked with finding out why and she joined Ivan on Thursday's edition of the Hard Shoulder.
