Breast reduction surgery is a procedure to reduce the size and weight of your breasts. Often the reason for reduction is back pain in women. But it’s not only women who may require this surgery. Some men experience gynecomastia, which is defined by the MAYO Clinic as an increase in the amount of breast gland tissue in boys or men, caused by an imbalance of the hormones oestrogen and testosterone.
