Cocaine Nation: "When they go for pints, they'll also buy a bag!"

How easy is it to get cocaine? "Easier than a pint". That's according to one recreational cocaine user who spoke to our reporter, Barry Whyte. "The hedonistic lifestyle of the boom is back...where there's money, there's no pain," and another says she feels safer doing cocaine than she does drinking. The interviews took place as part of a new short series called Cocaine Nation, shared across both The Hard Shoulder and Newstalk Breakfast. Speaking to Barry, these two users spoke about the normality of it among their peer groups, how expensive it is, and how it makes them feel the next day. Stay tuned across both programmes in the coming fortnight for special content on this controversial issue.
