Close contact rules for pupils set to be relaxed from Monday

Primary school children who are unvaccinated and have no symptoms of Covid-19 will be allowed to stay in school from Monday if they are close contacts of a confirmed case. The change is set to come into force despite 90 outbreaks of Covid-19 in schools last week. Are we taking the best course of action?
