Christmas Homecoming Hopes Dashed By Holohan

Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan has raised concern about air travel this Christmas, saying NPHET is engaging in a process with the government on how to enable the traffic light travel system by 8 November. He told the Oireachtas Transport Committee that the likelihood of people being able to travel home to Ireland for Christmas depends on "a whole lot of factors that are simply unknowable at this time." Professor Sam McConkey, Infectious Disease Specialist at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, joined us to discuss the situation.
