Dr Paul Moran, Psychiatrist working with the National Gender Services joins NewsTalk Breakfast to discuss these new figures from GP records in conjunction with the NHS. Analysis of GP records in conjunction with NHS England has found the number of children with gender dysphoria has risen 50 fold in a decade, with more than 10,000 people under the age of 18 identified as transgender or struggling with their gender identity.
