It was all about back to school on Dermot & Dave this morning. Dave received a text from a listener which said  "Lads I'm in a serious dilemma here,my son is due to start school tomorrow and after 6 months without a snot to be seen,now he has a headcold  just runny nose no temperature etc.....what do i do????? Anxious mum in Sligo" It comes as the Department of Health released his back to school guidelines for GP's so they could advise parents on what situations it isn't safe to send their children into a classroom. THE ADVICE SAYS PARENTS SHOULD NOT SEND THEIR KIDS TO SCHOOL IF THEIR CHILD: has a temperature of above 38C displays coronavirus symptoms was in close contact with a confirmed case living with someone who is unwell and may have coronavirus IF THE CHILD HAS ANY OF THE ABOVE, PARENTS SHOULD: isolate their child phone their GP restrict movements of their child and those who live with them until diagnosis from a GP treat their child at home for their symptoms Dr. Maitiu O Tuathail - General Practitioner & Past HSE Lead NCHD in GP joined Dermot & Dave this morning to chat about the rules.
