Fake history on the small and big screen

Fake History on the small and big screen - from Royals in The Crown to Bloody Sunday in the film Michael Collins, as today marks the centenary of Bloody Sunday, which is regarded as one of the pivotal moments in the Irish War of Independence. The events of that day were captured in the 1996 ‘Michael Collins’ movie starring Liam Neeson and one of the scenes that people recall is the football match at Croke Park where British forces opened fire on civilians. Susan Keogh was joined by Mick O’Keeffe, CEO of Teneo in Ireland and Former GAA Player as well as Screentime presenter John Fardy to discuss this further.  Listen and subscribe to Newstalk Breakfast with Susan Keogh on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.      Download, listen and subscribe on the Newstalk App.    You can also listen to Newstalk live on newstalk.com or on Alexa, by adding the Newstalk skill and asking: 'Alexa, play Newstalk'.
