Calls For Streaming Giants Like Netflix To Fork Over More Tax

Some EU countries have introduced levies on streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and Apple. Should Ireland do the same to help fund programme makers here? Larry Bass, CEO of Shinawil Productions, is calling on the government to levy all of these platforms and says the independent sector can no longer solely rely on RTÉ and Virgin Media Television to survive.
