Breastfeeding entitlement: "We're making a huge deal out of something so simplistic"

The Minister for Children Roderic O'Gorman has recently campaigned to increase the mandatory breastfeeding entitlement from six months to two years. Under the current rules, women who are breastfeeding are entitled to take one hour off work each day, with pay, as a breastfeeding break for up to 26 weeks after the birth of their child. ISME Chief Executive Neil McDonnell told Newstalk Breakfast that the proposals were "excessive." Andrea spoke to listeners to gauge their reaction to the minister's plan.
