[audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2020/10/29064811/alan-o-reilly.mp3"][/audio] Around two weeks worth of rain is expected to fall in the west over the next 24 hours. A status yellow rainfall alert is in place for Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick until 6am tomorrow morning with 60 millimetres expected - which could lead to some flooding in parts. A similar wind alert for Galway and Mayo will be in place from 10am. On Breakfast Briefing, Shane Beatty was joined by Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly.
