"The Big Dig" children discover their past

Now it's time for "Henry's Last Days of Summer" series, where we try and find something interesting for the kids to do to get them through the holidays. The Big Dig is run by the The School of Irish Archaeology bringing the past to life through practical, interactive experiences in a hands-on learning environment. The Big Dig recreates archaeological excavation sites, where children discover their past using simple tools and techniques. Introducing archaeology to children in a fun and enjoyable way.
