Bernard Casey Has All 'The Gossip' For Dermot & Dave

The Kerry man chats public transport, Star Wars and milky teeth Over the past 12 months or so, Bernard Casey's online comedy channels have exploded with thanks to his two most popular characters - 'Local Gossip' & 'Nephew'. I'm sure you've clicked into his videos on social media at some stage, where you would have been greeted with milky-toothed hilarity. He's a new type of comic; young and rural yet very current, and his observations are spot on. We ALL know a local gossip! Here he is in action: Described as, "A wonderfully well crafted performer with a great old school style of storytelling" by Tommy Tiernan, Casey's live shows are just as impressive. Today FM's Dermot and Dave caught up with the Portmagee native to learn more about his creations, who he describes as "everyone and noone" at the same time. They also learn what life was like for the Star Wars cast during their stint in the kingdom, why he loves public transport so much, and his missus buying him a ridiculous amount of milky teeth.
