Anthony Anderson Shares The Fatherhood Wisdom He's Learned From 'Blackish'

Blackish is an Emmy and Golden Globe winning sitcom that is one of the biggest TV shows in the US. The reason it is so big is because it is so well written and beautifully filmed with a cracking cast (Laurence Fishburne and Tracee Ellis-Ross plus a fantastic young cast that have grown up through the show) It's funny, poignant and one of the few major shows to feature a predominantly black cast. However, since it's success it has now spawned two spin-offs ensuring a more diverse cast on big productions which is a welcome move. The show also stars Oscar winner Laurence Fishburne as "Pops" and Tracee Ellis-Ross as "Bow" And the great news is that all seven seasons of 'Blackish' will be available on Disney + Star. Disney will unveil Star indie the Disney plus app on Feb 23 launching over 70 series and 270 movies. One of the main cast members Anthony Anderson joined Weekend Breakfast. He has served as an executive producer and starred as Andre "Dre" Johnson on the sitcom. He spoke to Alison Curtis about Fatherhood in the modern time (he admits he had a typewriter in College!) growing up in Compton & his smash-hit TV Show. . @anthonyanderson from #Blackish ❤️?️ The Golden Globe & Emmy winner chats about fatherhood in the modern time, growing up in Compton & his smash-hit TV Show. @alisontodayfm pic.twitter.com/JsRK9stKnm — Today FM (@TodayFM) February 20, 2021 FULL CHAT HERE: [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2021/02/20120423/WB-2002-ANTHONY-ANDERSON.mp3"][/audio]
