An Irish family escape from Afghanistan

Some listeners may remember an emotional interview we had back in August with Omid Ahmadi. The Irish Afghani got stuck in Afghanistan with his wife and two daughters, all of whom were Irish citizens when the Taliban took over during a rare family visit there. Their future was uncertain and naturally, they were scared, but fortunately, Omid and his family were among those evacuated last week and Omid spoke to Ciara this morning to tell her how he and his family feel now.
