It happened early on Saturday evening as Trump was holding a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Shots were fired, piercing part of Mr Trump’s ear from the stage giving a speech to supporters. Following the assassination attempt on Donald Trumps life Sean Defoe was joined by Larry Donnelly, Director of the Kennedy Summer School and Law Lecturer at the University of Galway and Bruce Morrison, Former US Congressman for the democratic party to give their reaction to the shocking events.
