The Last Word with Matt Cooper
The long-awaited sixth series of Line of Duty starts this Sunday on BBC One. Kelly Macdonald joins the cast as a new addition to the anti-corruption unit, and the series will see her character investigate a suspicious unsolved murder case. Series regulars Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure will all reprise their roles. The new series was commissioned three years ago, but filming was interrupted by the pandemic. Production resumed in September under COVID-19 safety guidelines. Jennifer Gannon and Joe O'Shea looked ahead to what we can expect in our weekly TV slot.
