John Boyne shot to fame with his book 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' in 2006. It told the story of two boys who lived either side of a fence in Auschwitz – one a prisoner, the other, Bruno, the son of a guard at the camp. Today he publishes a sequel, 'All the Broken Places', which follows Bruno’s older sister as she reflects on her life knowing what her father had been involved in.
