Absenteeism During the Pandemic

This week we heard that overall there was a 43% reduction it absenteeism in 2020, with the figure being even higher in the public sector at 59%. But does this mean that fewer people felt like calling in sick during a pandemic or was it that it’s easier to be sick if you're working from home?
