87% of parents cut back in order to pay school voluntary contributions

St. Vincent de Paul has published a new report today that shows that families' finances are greatly impacted by school “voluntary” charges. 87% of parents have had to cut back in order to pay for it.   Paul Crone, Director of The National Association of Principals and Deputies and Jen Hogan, author, journalist with the Irish Times and Mum of seven spoke to Shane Coleman this morning on the show.
