On the 11th of September 2001, almost 3,000 people were killed when hijackers crashed planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in rural Pennsylvania. Irishman Paul McCormack is a former NYPD officer who was there and was involved in the recovery mission on Ground Zero in the following months.
