Restaurants Forced To Insist On Deposits After Weekend Of No-Shows

Restaurants around the country reopened on Friday, but some have had problems with no-shows. The Sussex Restaurant on Upper Leeson Street in Dublin saw 18 no-shows from five bookings on Friday night. As a result, they are now taking deposits of €20 per person which will be redeemed against their meal. Co-owner Damien Quinn joined us on The Last Word to discuss this.
