Government To Review Vaccine Priority Groups
The rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine for over-85s gets underway this week, with 200,000 doses to be delivered in the coming days.
Health Minister Stephen Donnelly confirmed that the National Immunisation Advisory Committee is meeting to review the priority list of groups for vaccination, and is expected to expand on the number of underlying conditions which have been identified.
The list of vaccination centres for every county in Ireland has also been revealed, with at least one centre in each county.
Priscilla Lynch, clinical editor with the Medical Independent, and Denis McCauley, chairman of the GP committee of the Irish Medical Organisation, joined us to discuss these latest developments.
